Traffic Control Box Art Design Submissions

Thank you for your interest and helping us make The Milk District more colorful and distinct! Please fill out the form below and attach your design example for your design to be considered for a Milk District traffic control box. The deadline is August 9, 2021. 

Submission Guidelines:

The following submission guidelines & requirements apply:

  • You can submit as many designs as you would like. There is no design limit. 

  • Small design elements and text will be hard to see on the traffic control boxes, so keep that in mind. Make subjects large. 

  • Your design(s) can contain a maximum of 5% text.

  • Must paint all sides of the control box. 

  • There will be a stipend of $250, to include paint and supplies.

  • Artists must sign a VARA Waiver on the piece - https://www.copyright.gov/reports/exsum.html 

  • Use the official Milk District color palette to showcase your design.

Project Timeline:

The Request for Proposal timeline is as follows:

Submissions due 08/09/2021

Artist Selection by 09/31/2021

Evaluation Factors

Designs will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Originality

  • Best use of color palette

  • Incorporating activities/vibe from The Milk District is a plus!

  • Inclusivity is key - non-diary milks welcome.
