Congratulations to Liberty Barber Shop, for being our November Business Of The Month!! Located on the corner of Primrose Dr. and E. Washington St., they are also celebrating their 15th Year Anniversary in @themilkdistrict!

Opening in the fall of the recession of 2008, Liberty Barbershop has been many things over the last fifteen years, but one thing has remained constant: high quality haircuts, beard-cuts, and shaves for all walks of life, and all types of hair. We’ve seen it as a one man show, a training ground for barbers that want to elevate their craft and business skills, winning almost every award in the city and the industry at least once, way too cramped with a half dozen barbers sharing three stations on split shifts, and since 2018, it’s been a mostly appointment only, unrushed, full service, top quality shop with anywhere from one to three barbers on shift almost every single day.

We appreciate Owner/Operator John Duvoisin @johnthebarber

for being a positive influence on the neighborhood for professionals and residents alike, and congratulate him on reaching the very large milestone of 15 years in business, especially with all the trials and tribulations all small businesses have faced in Orlando over the past several years.

We asked Duvoisin what his next plans were, and he said, simply, “To continue living a life I don’t need to retire from.”
