Orlando Skate Park

BUSINESS OF THE MONTH

July, 2022

The Milk District is often recognized as a fantastic neighborhood to eat and drink in Orlando, but we’re also a great neighborhood for those who want to get active and stay mooooving.

The Milk District is happy to be home to the Orlando Skate Park. This 15,000-square-foot facility welcomes anyone ready to roll. Whether you rollerskate or rollerblade, ride a skateboard, BMX bike or scooter, you’ll find fun at the Orlando Skate Park.

The skate park is also accessible to all ages able to ride, says skate park manager Cesar Fernandez. “We have kids as young as four years old coming to ride at the skate park, and have a few gentlemen that are over 70 years old.”

Cesar Fernandez has been the Orlando Skate Park manager for six years now.

“I grew up skating in Orlando, the Orlando Skate Park was a skate park that I frequented as a kid,” says Cesar. “Definitely skated here, many hours, many nights, many contests. It's like home to me.”

The Orlando Skate Park is operated by the City of Orlando. “We have City of Orlando staff here at all times,” says Cesar, “and you can expect a clean, safe, fun experience at the Orlando Skate Park.”

The basic non-member daily rate is $5 for skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, and roller skates. Entry is $7 for BMX riding. There are a few different membership options to lower the cost and you can become an unlimited member for just $110. This membership gives you access for one full calendar year.

Orlando Skate Park also offers a weekly Skate Camp during extended school breaks. In this program, skate instructors teach basic skateboarding skills to students aged 5-14.

The Orlando Skate Park is open from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM Monday through Thursday. On Fridays the skate park operates 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM and Saturdays you can roll through from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Ride on Sundays 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
