THE BEST SANDWICHES.... IN THE UNIVERSE!

We all know Milk District sandwiches absolutely slap, so the District is looking to run a sandwich week promotion at the end of August. We'll do some posters and run social campaigns leading up to and through the week.

We're asking each restaurant to identify their SIGNATURE sandwich, which we will promote throughout the campaign on web and social and in-store printed pieces. We will also pitch a media story to highlight these choices.

We are also looking to partner with five food-based influencers to each do a "sandwich tour" with a collaborative instagram post. We've identified five themes for these tours - Classics, Plant-Based, Creative, Chicken, and Sweet Tooth. If you have a good relationship with someone we can reach out to, please let me know. Targeting folks with a local following and 50k+ IG followers.

Finally, we will do a social media contest, where we want to award an $50 gift card each day for people who post using our hashtag. We ask that the restaurant cover the first gift card if they are chosen. If there are repeat winners, the Milk District will cover any additional winners at that business. This is the only fee to participate.

We encourage all businesses to do their own sandwich-based promos this week, and we will amplify! Sandwich Trivia, Sandwich Movies, Sandwich Games... let us have it!

Sandwich Week will run August 20 - 28, with sign-ups ending July 20.

COFFEE + CREAM NETWORKING

After this year's State of the Milk, we heard feedback from business owners asking to get together more often. We started this month, and dates for the year are below, with locations subject to change.

Join fellow Milk District businesses on the second Tuesday of each month. No agenda, no programming, just people, this monthly meetup is a chance to connect with your neighbors, get more information about the Main Street program, and build community.

Grab the drink of your choice, and we'll pull together a couple of tables to chat!
